The Cascade Interstate Area
Our committee is ready to host the International Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous, grounded in the three legacies: Recovery, Unity, and Service.
The foundation of our bid is built upon the time-tested principles of Alcoholics Anonymous.
We are committed to carrying the message to the alcoholic who still suffers, ensuring the 67th ICYPAA provides powerful, diverse programming. Our focus is on the newcomer, demonstrating that a life of comfortable and lasting sobriety is possible for all young people.
The "Interstate" in our name speaks to our ability to unify diverse areas. Our committee models collaboration, ensuring the 67th ICYPAA will be an experience of inclusion, breaking down regional barriers and strengthening the global YPAA community.
Service is the core of our bid. We have a robust General Service (GSR) representation and a detailed financial plan, committing to prudent financial stewardship and significant contributions to the General Service Office (GSO) post-conference.
See how the CIA Bid Committee is actively involved in service right now.
We believe service starts now. In the last year, our committee members have hosted over 20 YPAA events, including conferences, campouts, dances, speaker meetings and book studies, demonstrating a commitment to hands-on service in our area.
A Clear Vision: The Pacific Nortwest offers the ideal location, infrastructure, and, most importantly, the spirit of service required to host the 67th International Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous.
